Visiting the enquiries counter
Please bring your Student ID card with you and have it ready at the counter. We are unable to release any information to you without your ID card.
The staff in the office are there to help you and will deal with your requests as quickly as possible. To speed up the process and avoid disappointment, students need to be aware of the following points:
Always bring your University ID card with you when you come to the Student Enquiries Office. Not only is this your means of personal identification, it also proves that you are a registered member of the University. Remember - your ID card is extremely valuable. It is your 'passport' to many student privileges as well as gaining you entrance to University facilities and the Student's Union. Look after it carefully and do not allow anyone else to use it.
Do not leave requests until the last minute - Please allow us two working days for the preparation of letters or certification of documents. Please remember that we receive hundreds of similar requests from your fellow students!
Confidentiality - All information concerning students is treated in confidence within the University. In particular, addresses and telephone numbers are not released to third parties (including friends, relatives and fellow students) under any circumstances, unless prior consent has been given, or the University is legally required to do so.
