Description:
The aim of the project was to engage Librarians in consultation regarding
the proposed National Service Framework for the National Library for Health
. Importantly to gain consensus on the seven core areas for standards.
To understand perceived opportunities and risks and the implications for
implementation in practice.
The consultation was undertaken in three phases and began by gaining the
views from the Strategic Health Authorities via a questionnaire Focus
groups were held to gather views of Librarians and telephone interviews
were undertaken with key stakeholders. The data was triangulated and the
findings reported.
