The Department is a highly regarded place to study - it has consistently achieved very high ratings in the National Student Survey and the Research Assessment Exercise. Staff are committed to being at the leading edge of the discipline and to providing a first class learning and teaching experience, in a friendly and supportive environment, for all students. Teaching is informed by a strong research culture and the department is proud of its thriving community of research students. The Department offers a range of programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level within the broad area of Information Science: Information Management and Business Studies, Information Management and Computing, Publishing with English, Web Development and Design; Information and Knowledge Management, Information and Library Management and Information Management and Business Technology.
