Title: INFORMATION SEEKING BEHAVIOUR AND UTILIZATION OF MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS IN UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITALS IN NIGERIA.

MY PROFILE

I am a team player who is always motivated by challenges to bring about positive changes in organizations, through dynamic multi skills to coordinate diverse activities, in any circumstance I find myself I can bring positive changes through communication with team members in recognition that everybody count in job delivery and group performance with my working experience in Research and other academic duties. As an experienced Teacher and researcher, I have taught major areas of core librarianship and information science, developed courseware and modules. As part of my academic activities I have published my research findings in Local, National and International journals

Modules taught; Introduction to Libraries and Information Centres, Information Services to Rural Communities, Information Sources in the Humanities, Collection development, Reference services, Automation in Libraries, Library work with young adults and National Libraries.
2001-2008 Lecturer and Acting Head of Department of Library Science, Kwara State CAILS, Ilorin. Responsible for;

·    Teaching and coordinating academic programmes of the department at meeting the accreditation standards at all time through evaluation of lecturers and teaching equipment.
·    Conduct semester examinations and prepare same for moderation by external examiners from Bayero University, Kano
·    Organized, coordinated and assessed students on practical attachment in libraries
·    Supervised and assessed student projects as part of graduating requirements
·    Attend and contribute to the Academic Board Meetings
