Title: E-quipped to Serve: Towards a Model for Effective Integral Mission Training delivered by E-learning

Having completed my library training in Aberystwyth I worked for 15 years in public libraries before taking up my current position as Librarian at All Nations Christian College in Hertfordshire. In addition to running the library, I am a personal tutor and co-ordinate the development of the college's e-learning programme.
All Nations Christian College is the UK's largest institution devoted to providing training for Christian cross-cultural mission work. My research will investigate how mission training institutions and mission organisations can use e-learning to provide effective training for mission workers. It aims to identify the criteria necessary for integral mission training delivered via e-learning to be effective, to propose a model for mission training delivered by e-learning and to apply the model in a cross-cultural mission context and evaluate its success.
