Title:Selection of digital material for preservation in libraries, archives and museums

After graduating in psychology from the University of Nottingham I worked in the civil service and in academic libraries for some years. I completed my Masters in Information and Library Management at Loughborough University in 2009. My dissertation concentrated on selection and censorship in public libraries during the period between the two world wars. This interest in selection subsequently widened to encompass decision making in digital curation and preservation. This is reflected in my current research which aims to investigate the theory and practice of selection of material for digital preservation, focussing on libraries, archives and museums.
