Induction Day for Exchange Students

Exchange students commencing their study in October are expected to attend an Induction Day.  In 2009 this day will take place on 25th September and a timetable for the day is available here.

Choosing modules

Exchange students have their own individual timetable and choose their modules according to their needs and the availability of modules each year.   The timetable for modules in this Department will shortly be made available here.  Modules which commence with the code “09EUA”  are taught to first year students, those with the code 09EUB are taught to second year students and those with the code 09EUC are taught to third year students.  With the exception of one or two modules, exchange students can take any of these modules.

It is expected that exchange students will take the majority of their modules in this Department.  A full catalogue of modules available in the University can be accessed here.   The credits awarded for modules at Loughborough are double the ECTS value, therefore a module worth 10 credits at Loughborough has an ECTS value of 5.

Disabilities and Additional Needs

Exchange students with disabilities and additional needs can find details of available support here.

Further information

More information on study at Loughborough will be available to students on arrival.  Exchange students have a dedicated area on an internal departmental website providing them with information on academic matters.
