Advanced Manufacturing Research at the IMCRC
A world-leading research and development organisation, the IMCRC worked with British and international businesses to create cutting-edge research in manufacturing and construction and transfer knowledge to industry and its research partners. Operating from the 1 October 2001 to 30 September 2011, the IMCRC successfully completed over 200 research projects undertaken in partnership with more than 400 organisations.

Moving industry forward with Advanced Manufacturing
Advanced Manufacturing includes all aspects of the manufacturing process from design through to production. The UK needs innovative processes such as Advanced Manufacturing to enable our industries to be progressive and competitive in the global marketplace.
Loughborough has established research strengths in a broad range of Advanced Manufacturing research areas. Two of these areas: Regenerative Medicine and Innovative Electronics Manufacturing have secured funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) for individual research centres.
