Policy and strategy
This strategy provides a vision for Loughborough University for the next ten years. It recognises that the fundamental purpose of a university is to contribute to original knowledge and understanding and to develop students intellectually as critical thinkers and as responsible members of society and citizens of the world.
It also accepts that we are part of a global community and that we have a responsibility to contribute to social and economic development at regional, national and international levels.
An overall consideration as part of this vision is the environment and our desire to contribute to the environmental sustainability agenda.
We will be known for a leading campus based environment. This will be distinguished by its environmental sustainability.
